Diverse has finally taken possession of the Vermeer D100x120. With 100,000lb (45t) of thrust and pullback, the D100 is capable of bores up to 1km in length and diameters up to 1.2m.
The D100 is currently being commissioned and fully mine spec'd and will be setup with all the support gear to enable it to complete jobs in the most remote parts of the country. The D100 is due to cut its teeth on BHP's RGP5 Rail Vertical Package in January 2010.
